Job Description:

Job Objective

The position is responsible to carry out field visits throughout the project, as needed to support and/ or supervise data collection or verify data quality in District Hyderabad, Tando Mohammad Khan and Badin.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a systematic monitoring framework to improve the qualitative and quantitative evidence gathered by the Project.
  • Develop and implement a strong monitoring and evaluation system that will ensure tracking of project/ programme results at different levels (outputs, outcomes and impact).
  • Conduct & facilitate the baseline, midterm and end line evaluation of the project.
  • The M&E officer will monitor and evaluate proposed technical and financial interventions impact the positioning of poor women in the markets.
  • Facilitation to donors in their monitoring visits to the project areas.
  • Assist Program  manager to develop reports and other tasks assigned
  • Use of innovative, result-oriented impact assessment methodologies to assess the ‘change’ and the ‘impact’ of the project interventions.
  • The Monitoring system will also incorporate special research initiatives to track outcomes and test the viability of different interventions in the context of economic and market development, particularly for the poor and marginalized women in agriculture.
  • Identify lessons learned and develop case studies to capture qualitative outputs of the project.
  • Following the work plan and meeting the targets as per plan.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and bi-annual work plans and progress reports.
  • Documentation of all activities and compiled data for monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Any other task or assignment will be assigned by the management.
