We are looking for an SEO expert with at least 5 years of experience and a demonstrable track record in the SEO sector.

You will be assigned to work with a digital agency in the UK and required to work remotely (i.e. from home/ your own premises). Your working hours will be 9am to 5pm UK time.

We're open to this being a part-time or full-time position, preferably we'd like to start off as a part-time and make it full-time in a few months - the salary range specified takes this into account.

The role:

• Deliver key SEO tasks such as keyword research, competitor analysis and performance analysis


• Make content recommendations following best SEO practice


• Brief and optimise onsite content, metadata, blog content for our clients


• Support the implementation of content marketing campaigns for our clients in collaboration with the rest of the content team


• Support the implementation of inbound link building strategies


• Be involved in new business pitches when required


• Be aware of industry developments and their potential impact on organic search rankings


• Keep up to date on new trends and methods, reporting back to the wider business


• Work in clients’ CMSs to update content as needed


• Prepare client reports and liaise with clients on results

Other Requirements

• You must have excellent English written and verbal communication skills (mandatory)


• Agency experience preferable 


• Experience in using SEO tools such as Ahref and SEMRush (or similar)


• Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar


• Knowledge and understanding of life and culture in the UK (not mandatory but will be an advantage).


• Experience of living and/or studying and/or working in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe or Australia (not mandatory but will be an advantage).

Selection process

• Suitable candidates will be invited for an initial interview over video call (20 minutes)


• Should you be successful at the initial interview stage, you will be invited for a formal interview also over video call (30 minutes)


• This may in some cases be followed by a practical activity (around 1 to 2 hours).
