| Job Description: |
The scrum master will work with the Product Owner and Tech Lead throughout the software development life cycle. To succeed in this position, he/she should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to define backlog, and sprints, and conduct scrum events. Scrum Master skills also include familiarity with the Agile framework, tools such as Jira to create and manage backlogs and sprints, and SQA to ensure the quality of the product.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work with the product owner and technical leads to define project scope and timeline.
- Coordinate sprints, and conduct sprint planning, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups.
- Build Epics, User stories, Tasks, and Sub-tasks from the business requirement document and design for the software engineering team.
- Work with product owners to define backlogs and sprints.
- Coach team members in Agile frameworks.
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration.
- Be the point of contact for external communications.
- Assist in technical documentation.
- Resolve conflicts and assist team to resolve any blockers.
- Help teams implement changes effectively.
- Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint and product delivery.
- Perform Software Quality Assurance/Functional testing of the product.
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience in a scrum master or project coordinator role.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle.
- Familiarity and experience with Jira.
- Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of done, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement).
- Knowledge and experience in measuring performance in the scrum.
- Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks.
- Excellent communication and servant leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
- Experience in performing SQA and functional testing.
- Scrum master certification is a plus
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent required.
2+ years of progressive experience in scrum master or project coordinator role and being involved in software development life cycle and SQA.Note:
Job Timing: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (Mon to Fri)
Candidate must be fluent in speaking English |
