The ideal candidate should

• Hold an MBA (Contract Management Certifications/Diploma shall be an added advantage)
• Have 4 – 5 years of relevant work experience
• Area of specialization: Procurement and Contract Management (Technology (Engineering and IT), Supply, Services, Sharing, Acquisition, Lease, Civil Works and Build Outs, IRU, International Traffic Carrier, OFC (Deployment Sharing and IRU), O&M and Security Contracts.

• Partake in contractual negotiations forums / meetings with suppliers in which our sourcing resources participate.
• Responsible for preparing supplier contracts and managing the overall operational structure of the Contract execution cycle in accordance with the department policies and procedures
• Prepare contracts and related documents; work in coordination with procurement guidelines, end user teams, Taxation, Treasury and Legal guidelines.
• Follow-up and Expediting: This involves liaising with Supplier and internal parties for contract finalization within stipulated timelines and ensuring timely printing of documents and adherence to timelines.
• Responsible for archival and maintenance of all contracts and related documents
• Operationalize the procurement process by floating RFP/Qs, calling Bids & carry out negotiations for Technology and Other department / projects.
• Identify procurement needs from end users and advise on products and service specification.
• Promote cost effective quality purchases of goods and services to end users, by utilizing innovative methods in carrying out negotiations.
• Analyze purchase requisitions, develop RFP/RFQ strategy, review commercial bids and prepare Purchase Orders for assigned departments.
• Prepare logical Quotation Evaluation statements adhering to the SOPs as laid down w.r.t Technical & Commercial aspects.
• Prepare cases by making comparative statements & business case for approvals covering financial / commercial variable comparisons, Technical specification comparisons and other essential aspects such as delivery time, warranty, quality etc

Essential Skills

• Ability to drive results out of dead lock contractual negotiations,
• Experience of rafting legal agreements, settlements, performance surety bond/guarantees, Proficiency in English is a must.
• Sound negotiation skills.
• Effective verbal & written communication
• Sound problem solving & decision making skills

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of Telecom, Network, IT
• Proficiency in MS Office, Oracle Financials
