We are seeking qualified and highly motivated applicants for Timergara Lower Dir MSF Project:
Nurse Supervisor for Post-Partum unit (Female)
General Objectives of the function:
- Direct supervisor of all nurses, LHV’s and paramedical technicians in Post-Partum Unit.
- Main clinical supervision in Post-Partum unit of nurses, LHV’s and paramedical technicians in Post-Partum unit
- Administrative tasks (preparation of roster, organization of work, evaluations, follow-up pharmacy orders etc.)
- When required cover a limited number of on call nights per month in Post-Partum Unit or Labor Unit
Direct Supervisor:
Midwife Activity Manager and/ or Midwife Activity Manager Assistant
The Applicants must meet the following requirements:
Qualification:
- 3 years Nursing Diploma
- Midwife experience in management of obstetric emergencies essential
- Management experience
- Valid PNC registration
Experiences:
- BTLS (Basic Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), ALSO (Advanced Life Support in Obstetric) are desirable
- 6 months supervising experience in MSF or other international organization is an advantage
Required knowledge and skills:
- High communication skills in Urdu and Pastho
- Good communication skills in English, both in written and speaking
- Good knowledge of Lower Dir community and culture
- Strong management- and leadership capacities
