Job purpose:
To maintain and enhance the value of HR through operational excellence, flawless delivery of services and high levels of professionalism in all interactions with employees and stakeholders; to provide comprehensive HR advice and support to employees regarding policies, processes and work requirements, and to contribute towards the achievement of key HR priorities and objectives.
Key accountabilities
Provide high quality service delivery and proactive, business focused HR advice and services for a wide range of employment and employee relations matters.
Ensure accurate and updated lifecycle management of all employees from the time of the job offer up to the time of separation. This includes onboarding, increments, promotions, transfers, separations, and any other related activities.
Ensure flawless operation of the HR Information System and ensure that the data is regularly updated and accurate, the accountability hierarchy and organizational structures are up to date and available, and that all data is entered accurately and on time.
Ensure that all employee records are correctly and confidentially updated and maintained, and that all data is accurately recorded.
Prepare employee separation notices and related documentation, and conduct exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Provide accurate advice and support to managers on grievance management, disciplinary process, and other employee matters; ensure that issue and grievance management is fair and unbiased and that all issues are resolved on time with minimum disruption to the business; attend formal hearings, appealmeetings and other meetings as appropriate.
Manage the analysis, maintenance, and communication of records required by law or local governing bodies, or other departments in the organization.
Ensure that policies are reviewed regularly in line with market practices and that awareness sessions are done for employees across the organization.
Skills & Experience
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a reputed university/institute.
1-2 years core HR experience
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of employee relations and labor law
Ability to manage and deliver multiple objectives
Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with numbers, formulas and charts
Analytical and Problem Solving skills
