About This Role:
This role draws on expertise in analysis, big data, and operations to manage and improve the processes.
- Develop efficient, workable solutions that perform prescribed research methods and business rules
- Apply statistical analyses, machine learning, and data visualization techniques
- Partner with developers, statisticians, and product managers to deliver timely, high-quality product data
- Design, develop, and implement creative quality assurance tests that validate source data and output
- Support statistical teams that research and evaluate new methods
- Exercise experience in the development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of improvements to business processes
- Manage and motivate staff to high levels of team performance
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelors degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering or Computer Science
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in data science analyzing big data, thinking creatively, and solving complex problems under pressure
- 5 years of management experience leading an analytical team
- Record of success managing critical processes and teams in a fast-paced business environment with competing priorities, vague requirements, and rapid iterations
- Strong software development skills and expertise designing efficient SQL queries of big data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
