Receive, inspect and store all standard inventory stock and special order material and parts.

Track a large and diverse inventory and maintain proper stock levels by devising appropriate reorder lead times and amounts to assure adequate quantities are available for the Plant facility.

Obtain quotes and negotiate comparative prices, order parts from vendors, and work within budget constraints.

Possess basic computer skills with the ability to use typical office programs.

Utilize computer-based storeroom operations program and is thoroughly versed in its capabilities and limitations.

Ensure that all inventory transactions are properly documented in accordance with standard operating procedures.

Issues material, parts and equipment to concerned department.

Possess thorough knowledge of all material and equipment’s in the warehouse inventory.

Conduct complete inventories as well as weekly cycle counts.

Possess a basic knowledge of bar coding procedures.

Practice safe warehouse procedures, identify potential hazards, and recommend improvements to standard procedures.

Issue shared equipment maintained in the storeroom.

Maintain the storeroom in a neat, orderly and efficient fashion.

Confirms that delivered goods match purchase order specifications of quantity, condition, model number, etc.

Utilizes inventory database to properly account for issues, returns, receipts of new materials and associated back orders

Inputs essential data on all materials handled; adheres to strict accounting procedures in this regard.

Assists in conducting complete physical inventory count annually.

Organizes and maintains warehouse and inventory yard areas for efficient material storage and handling.

Maintains records and coordinates the periodic safety inspection and testing of specialized utility equipment.

Reconcile inventory discrepancies

Lead Warehouse team and provide supervisory support.

Perform related tasks as required.
