| Job Description: |
- Handling procurement of capital goods, local goods/services/material at plant site and timely arrangement of critical material with close coordination with end user and store
- Handling spends on local technical/mechanical consumables, safety and lab item consumables and technical/engineering equipment goods/services
- Manage the purchasing of lab items
- Preparation of Request for Quotations (RFQs)
- Ensuring the quality of goods and services should be as per end user specifications and negotiating with vendors on prices and commercial terms to generate maximum benefit for the company
- Co-ordinating with SCM head office team, plant accounts/Finance department for timely release of payments as per agreed terms and conditions of purchase order
