Job Description:

Under the close and direct supervision of the Polio Access & Security Analyst he/she will:

·         Assists in monitoring security deployment in areas assigned and reports shortfalls and maintains records;

·         Follow up post-incident security matters with authorities and respective police stations as directed;

·         Assists in gathering information related to security matters and compiles on regular basis as directed by PASA;

·         Apprises the PASA of any emerging law and order concerns which comes to attention, including media reports. Any liaison relationships built for this purpose should be under the direct supervision of the analyst;

·         Carries out risk assessment to support PASA with the security risk analysis;

·         Assist with the access and security elements of CBV implementation in the province and monitors as directed; Conducts field missions to monitor the effectiveness of vendor-delivered security awareness training and provide feedback to the PASA;

·         Monitor security deployment of an area assigned by the PASA, primarily (but not necessarily limited to) in support of the CBV teams, to strengthen (cordoned-off, foot & mobile patrolling back up deployment as per security planning component of the micro plans) security mechanism around them and report critical shortage/sloppiness in sought after performance;

·         Attends polio related meetings, e.g. DPEC/DSCC/UPECs/DPCR sessions to back stop PASA in case of overlap of meetings/ commitments;

·         Any additional security related task assigned by PASA.
