Job Description: |
As ann Assist Manager of Accounts & Finance in all Finance & Accounts related functions. Process and reconcile a wide variety of accounting documents such as invoices, departmental billings, employee reimbursements, cash receipts, vendor statements, and journal vouchers; prepare reports; compile and review information for accuracy, and maintain records.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for all payments and receipt handling.
- Payment to employees
- Payment to vendors
- Recoding of donations
- Preparation of vouchers
- Responsible for fixed asset capitalization & proper documentation.
- Data entry of all information in SAP.
- Responsible for bank reconciliation.
- Preparation of monthly accounts.
- Prepare different financial reports required by HOD/ CFO.
- Processing monthly payroll.
- To process and receive all invoices, expense forms, and requests for payment & compliance with applicable taxes.
- Monthly Reconciliation of the direct debit donations.
- Maintain & process daily transactions for petty cash and ensure the reconciliation is completed on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Respond to the routine queries from staff, customers & suppliers and investigate if required.
- Liaise with all parties involved in banking transactions.
- Updating and analysis of the monthly expenditure schedules to identify accrual and prepayments to be included in the monthly management accounts.
- Manage and maintain provident fund of employees.
- Ensure compliance with Tax Laws by filing monthly returns & processing monthly tax payments.
- Liaison with the finance department at Namal University to maintain current accounts between the entities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualification:
B.Com/BBA or Equivalent from HEC recognized university.
Work Experience:
At least 5 years of related work experience.
KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCIES
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good hands-on experience in finance-related computer applications.
- Adequate Knowledge of accounting standards, methods, Tax Laws, policies, and procedures.
- Knowledge of general record keeping and filing systems
- Ability to compare data from a variety of sources for accuracy and completeness.
