This is a WFH position. Timings are 10am - 07 pm (Pakistan Standard Time)

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to participate in the quality assurance testing of complex web applications. This role is for a professional with a good understanding of testing methodologies and automation tools.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze software requirement specifications (SRS) to understand client requirements.
• Plan, design, and execute manual test cases in accordance with SRS.
• Author and maintain automated tests by SRS.
• Ensure signoff from the development team before initiating QC process.
• Perform tests and ensure error-free and bug-free products/ applications.
• Report and communicate bugs/errors to the relevant team through error reporting tools.
• Re-test the product/application after resolution of errors/bugs by the developers.
• Properly document all the errors/bugs reported and corrective actions taken.
• Ensure In-time logging of Actual Work Hours and update tasks status on Task Management Tools.
• Acquire more domain knowledge, improve skill set, and learn new tools and technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all established processes.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• 3+ years of QA experience
• 2+ years of hands-on experience of Playwright framework.
• Good experience with JavaScript or Java for test automation creation
• Understanding of software release process, particularly agile methodologies.
• Experience in testing web-based client-server systems & web services.
• Experience with all types of software testing (Functional, Non-functional, Regression, System, User Acceptance, usability testing, security testing, and Performance testing.
• Expert in Black box, End-to-end testing & test planning, designing, and execution.
• A highly motivated individual is able to understand complex software and learn quickly.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills.
