Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Land to lead our land acquisition and development efforts. The incumbent will be responsible for identifying and acquiring suitable land parcels for development projects and overseeing the land development process from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:


  1. Land Acquisition:

    • Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities in alignment with the company\\\'s strategic objectives.
    • Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess the viability of land parcels for development.
    • Negotiate land purchase agreements and coordinate due diligence activities.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, and other stakeholders.
  2. Land Development Planning:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive land development plans.
    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to prepare site plans and development designs.
    • Ensure compliance with zoning regulations, environmental requirements, and other land use regulations.
    • Prepare project budgets and timelines for land development projects.
  3. Project Management:

    • Oversee the implementation of land development projects, including site preparation, infrastructure development, and construction.
    • Monitor project progress and budget performance to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Address any issues or challenges that arise during the land development process and implement effective solutions.
    • Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and timely completion of work.
  4. Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Engage with local government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals for land development projects.
    • Represent the company in public hearings, meetings, and other forums related to land use and development.
    • Build positive relationships with stakeholders and address any concerns or objections in a proactive and professional manner.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Master\\\'s degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in land acquisition, land development, and project management, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate laws, zoning regulations, and land use planning principles.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
  • Proficiency in project management software and other relevant tools.
